The cup tie against Rangers will DEFINITELY go ahead at Fir Park on Saturday February 14. It appears that SKY have decided to show the Dunfermline v Celtic match live instead.
Stevie McMillan is suspended for the Hibs game on Saturday, but Eric Garcin should return after missing both Dumbarton games with a groin injury.

Motherwell will play Rangers at Fir Park in the 4th Round of the Scottish Cup. The tie is scheduled for Saturday 14 February but SKY are reported to be interested in screening the match live, which means it may be moved to Monday 16th. Live screening of the match would land the club approximately £200,000.
Scott Howie has joined Coventry City on a three-month loan deal.

Dundee have pulled out of a deal for Billy Davies. The Dens Park club had agreed a fee with Motherwell but couldn’t match the player’s personal terms.

Eliphas Shivute will be available for the Rangers game tomorrow after all. Namibia’s match against South Africa is not until the 24th, which means that Eliphas will miss the Dumbarton cup tie instead. Also, Namibia have DEFINITELY qualified for the African Nations Cup finals, which means Eliphas will also miss at least two games in February.

The Sun reports that Dundee are set to sign Billy Davies later this week. The Dens Park club first tried to sign the 33-year-old three months ago but the deal fell through.
Newspaper reports suggest that Scott Howie is likely to sign a three-month loan period with Airdrie.
Former Motherwell trialist Paul McDonald has signed for Dunfermline.
The Dumbarton cup tie will NOT be all ticket. The admission price for adults is £11.

Eliphas Shivute will miss the Rangers game on Saturday week as he has been called up by Namibia to face South Africa on the same day. He could also miss matches in February if Namibia qualify for the African Cup of Nations, although he will be available for the cup game against Dumbarton on January 24. Steve McMillian is suspended for the Rangers game and also for the game against Hibs two weeks later.
Hamilton Accies will play their Scottish Cup 3rd round tie against Rangers at Fir Park.
Former Motherwell player Rob McKinnon is expected to leave Dutch club Twente Enschede at the end of the season to sign for Hearts.
Motherwell are giving a trial to Austrian midfielder Gunter Zeller. The Linz player, who can also play in defence, played in a closed doors match against Kilmarnock on Tuesday and hopes to presuade Alex McLeish to offer him a contract. Willie Falconer, Eric Garcin and Simo Valikari also played in the match and are available for the Celtic game tomorrow.
Motherwell supporter Graham Sturrock from Perthshire was killed in a road accident on Saturday as he travelled to the match at Kilmarnock. Our condolences go out to his family.

Scott Howie has been offered an 18-month contract by Belgian side Royal Antwerp, who are currently anchored at the foot of the league. The ‘keeper, who has also had spells at Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United, is also considering offers to go on trial with clubs in Greece and Spain.
Former Motherwell star Steve Kirk has been appointed manager of East Fife.
Long-term injury victim Willie Falconer played the entire 90 mins of a reserve match against Hibs on December 30th, and even grabbed a goal in the 3-3 draw. Falconer has spent ten weeks on the sidelines after breaking his ankle in the 4-0 defeat by Dundee United in October.
Former Hamilton winger Paul McDonald played for the reserves in the match against Hibs. The 29-year-old is available for free after being released by Brighton.
Motherwell will play Dumbarton away from home in the 3rd round of the Scottish Cup. The tie is scheduled for Saturday 24th January.
